Managing Director

Kaytie is the founding director and one of the creative brains behind Make Do & Grow. Kaytie spent 10 years working in B2B Marketing Communications before founding Make Do & Grow in March 2017. Passionate about community, creativity and reuse, the organisation launched following her own childhood experience and current needs as a parent with growing children. Kaytie continues to run the organisation with the support of the board, parent steering group and local community.

Anna
General Manager - Shop / Creative

Anna is a highly skilled and experienced manager who has worked within our local community for several years. She is teacher trained and a sought after community arts practitioner with a background in socially engaged arts, youth participation and creative learning. She currently leads Make Do and Grow's arts programmes alongside support of our Children's community shop. 

Gosia
General Manager - Toy Library / E-Commerce

Gosia started with us as a local mum (originally from Poland) who had been coming to Make Do & Grow since we opened our doors for the first time. She became part of our team in 2021 as Toy Library Coordinator, bringing us her passion for family and amazing administration skills. She now supports leadership of our small team, runs our Toy Library partner projects across the city and manages our ecommerce programme. Ask her about toys and play and she will talk for days!

Rana
Team Leader - Toy Library

Rana joined us in 2023 and with her background in both accounting and teaching developed quickly became our Toy Library Team Leader. She has a real passion for supporting children to learn and enabling families to thrive and is the welcoming face of our library. 

Nawal
Team Leader - Shop

Nawal joined us through the Kickstart scheme and quickly became a valued member of the team. After supporting the launch of The Toy Library, Nawal is developing her interest in photography to degree level alongside supporting our shop and leading our Saturday Family Craft Club. She is responsible for our outstanding staff photographs.
