Kaytie

Kaytie is the founding director and one of the creative brains behind Make Do & Grow. Kaytie spent 10 years working in B2B Marketing Communications before founding Make Do & Grow in March 2017. Passionate about community, creativity and reuse, the organisation launched following her own childhood experience and current needs as a parent with growing children. Kaytie continues to run the organisation with the support of the board, parent steering group and local community.

Victoria

Victoria has spent her career in various HR roles across different sectors and most recently has worked with Ark Housing Association for over 10 years in her post of Director of People & Organisational Development. Victoria contributes to the voluntary sector nationally through her role as Chair of the HR Voluntary Sector Forum who have 90+ member organisations. She has recently completed an MBA (with Distinction) at Strathclyde University and is also a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and a Steering Committee Member of the West of Scotland Branch.

Gareth

A local resident, Gareth's first involvement with Make Do & Grow was as a service user with both his children.

Gareth works as the Senior Operations Manager of a Citizens Advice Bureau service in the west of Scotland, having worked in the volunteer-led service for over 15 years. In his spare time, Gareth also volunteers as a coach for a local youth football club.

Hannah

Hannah has worked for over 15 years in the area of skills and employability, with roles in the private, public and third sector. She brings particular expertise in strategic planning, policy development and performance management. Hannah currently works in the Corporate Planning & Performance Reporting team at Skills Development Scotland. Outside of work, she is also studying for a Masters in Public Administration part-time with the University of Birmingham.
